We have some happy news to share: Dr. Diana Tran, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, has joined our team. She brings years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, a steady hand in the delivery room, and an approach to care that fits right in with how we like to do things.
Ask Dr. Tran what drew her to this field, and she will tell you it is the chance to care for two patients at the same time, mother and baby, and to share in the daily celebration of new life. She practices general obstetrics and gynecology and also works as an OB hospitalist, which means delivering babies is a central part of her week. For expecting mothers, that is reassuring: the care you receive through your pregnancy connects to the care you receive on the day your baby arrives.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Chicago Medical School and has spent most of her life in Southern California. She trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Loma Linda University Medical Center, finishing her internship and residency in 2008, and she is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
What we love about Dr. Tran’s approach is where she begins. Before she explains a diagnosis, she asks what you already understand. Then she lays out your options in plain language, often using images, and pauses to make room for your questions. Her goal is simple: she wants you to leave each visit clear about what is happening and confident in the plan you made together. That kind of understanding is what builds trust, and trust is what good care is built on.
It is the same standard we hold across our practice, so we are glad to have a provider who shares it.
Dr. Tran sees patients primarily at our Upland office and covers our other Inland Empire locations as needed. Whether you are expecting your first child, due for a well-woman exam, or simply looking for an OB/GYN who will take the time to listen, she would be glad to care for you.
