Andrea Alvarez, RNP
Her passion for obstetrics and gynecology was inspired by her own healthcare experiences and the limited representation of Latina providers she encountered throughout her personal and professional career. She recognizes the importance of culturally responsive care and the meaningful impact that representation can have on building trust and fostering strong patient-provider relationships. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Andrea is dedicated to educating and empowering patients to better understand their health and committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where women feel heard and understood. Her goal is to partner with each patient, providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports informed decision-making and lifelong wellness. She performs comprehensive annual well woman exams, contraceptive counseling and management, prenatal and postpartum care and gynecological evaluations.
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys exploring new local coffee shops, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and their dogs.
