Brenna Sommer, D.O.

“Dr. Sommer was raised on a farm in upstate NY as the youngest of four siblings to parents who both proudly identify as activists. She was heavily influenced by her family’s life-long advocacy supporting policies focused on women’s health. Understanding that quality, individualized care is an essential component to a woman’s well-being, Dr. Sommer committed herself to a career in medicine. She fell in love with the Inland Empire while attending Touro University. Dr. Sommer completed her residency at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center where she was recognized for her dedication to teaching and minimally invasive surgical skills. She then returned to the Inland Empire to continue her career as an OB/GYN.

She is dedicated to women’s health and the challenges patients encounter at different life stages. Her areas of expertise include high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, contraceptive counseling, LGBT medicine, and sexual health. Dr. Sommer is bi-lingual and strives to connect with patients from all backgrounds. She is professionally, and philosophically, committed to treating each patient with compassion, respect, and has an acute sensitivity to the particulars of each case.”
